Location: • Brussels City Centre – Midi Train Station • Perfect for EuroStar travel. (you can literally get from your bedroom to the platform in 5mins – if you take out any queue times). There’s even a hotel entrance via the station. • Despite the proximity, I hardly heard a sound from the outside world … so good double/triple glazed windows. • Perfect also for intercity travel and commute (trains, buses and taxis) within Brussels. Again provided you have your tickets and know exactly what platform for your destination, its 5mins or less from bedroom to platform. • It’s a ‘Commercial City’ so trains are possibly faster than Taxis (but you decide for yourself). • 1 train stop from Central station which is a key social hub (museums, restaurants, shops, sites, arts etc) • About 7-ish mins on the train to Brussel-Centraal and about 15mins (from Midi) to Brussel-Noord (restaurants, shops loads of options) • Caveat: There wasn’t much to do in Midi (from my perspective). However, to explore I took a 30min walk to Grand-Place, and Brussel-Centraal (station and area) which ties in with the above statement. Facilities: • 1 main restaurant for breakfast and dinner • 1 main bar • 1 lunch time restaurant/lounge area with loads of seating options if you want to plug in your laptop and work as you eat. • Exceptional hygiene standards visibly noticed everywhere - staff and facilities. Restaurant/Room Service: • Same menu shared by restaurant and room service. • Not a whole load of variety to choose from but each meal was great. • Breakfast offering was ‘city-centre’ good too. It had enough of the basics, which was always well replenished and the staff were there in a couple of minutes with fresh tea/coffee.

the hotel felt good quality - we saw families with young children as well as other couples and also people on their own who appeared to be staying for business. the breakfast was delicious and VERY filling - we didn't have to eat again until the evening each day, which saved us a lot of money. it is open 6am-10am every day. easy to access as it's located on the 1st floor. not just buffet-style but also has a chef who can make you a fresh omelette or fried eggs on request. wide selection of food items including breads, cereals, fruit, cold meats, lil cheeses etc. also an espresso AND regular coffee machine! the sauna was great, we were able to work up a sweat and relax. it's great that it's open 24 hours too. welcome desk staff are super attentive and helpful, even when we had to ring them a few times for help with things. when the AC broke in our room, they transferred us to a superior room with no charge! we loved that the TVs had chromecasts too, made it easy to watch/listen to whatever we wanted, cast from our phones. the beds are super comfortable and very roomy. my boyfriend and i were able to lay with our arms out and only just touch each other, so great for people who like lots of room in bed. really great location for travel - the hotel is located in bruxelles-midi station, where you can get trains (including the eurostar) and buses from. it is also close to other bus/tram stops. the flibco shuttle stop is just outside the midi station also, so fairly quick commute from charleroi airport. nice view of the train tracks too which was quite peaceful for us.

Room was huge, spacious, with a large/long sofa. Staff at the checkin desk was friendly and helpful, though she gave an aloof first impression. Room rate €138 for Half board, which included breakfast for two and a €50 voucher for each pax to spend at its restaurant (exclude drinks, can only use it on food). It’s as good as paying only €38 per room nite for two person. Very worthwhile. Conveniently located just next to the train station. But no onsite parking - nearest is at the station just across the street but very expensive (€48+ for a nite). After we unloaded our luggages at the hotel lobby, we drove and parked at Indigo carpark 2 streets away (~10mins walk) at half the fee.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was modern, the bed was super comfy. I loved the rainfall style shower in the room. Our room was ready to check in early which was a nice surprise, and when we checked out they happily stored our luggage for us. The location of the hotel was convenient, literally next to the train station. Breakfast was nice, lots of choice/variety. As a Brit I found it strange to have chicken legs as part of breakfast as that's not a thing here! There was a smart TV in the room which had English TV Channels and also had YouTube and casting features. We had a really nice view of the city and train station from our window which we loved.

The hotel is clean and modern. The room was spacious and quiet despite the view of the road and trains. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fruits, pastries, and hot dishes. We could also order eggs cooked by the chef. The location is right in the central station, with metro, bus, and trams nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers very tasty dishes for dinner.
